I'm thinking of attending this recruiting this camp and I was just wondering if anyone else has gone there or heard anything about it.

I was there two summers ago, it was a great experience. There are alot of d III and d II coaches there, and if you make the fab fourty all star team youll get some good looks from alot of d I teams. I would definatly recomend going. Gettysburg is such a beatiful place too. It was a very good experience for me.

Thought it was a good idea to revive this thread, seeing as I just put my application into Top Star this morning. Any suggestions before the camp? I'm guessing its not easy to get onto the Fab 40 team.

o i went last year its amazing i had so much fun... i met so many new people and coaches from DIII and DII

It's a good camp... If you are a good player, you have to play well every single game in order to be selected for the Fab 40 team. They tell you some bull about how they use a "point system" in order to select the team. Basically, there is a "hierarchy" of coaches at the camp. First, you have to impress the coach on your own team. He must think that you are one of the top 3 players on the team. If this is true, then he will tell one of the "elite" coaches at the camp and he will decide if you are worthy of fab 40 or not. If you see the Salisbury head coach, air force, bucknell (jamieson), gettysburg watching your games... then you better play well, cause these guys i've noticed have the biggest say in who makes the all star teams. I've been going to top star the past two years... first year i didnt make anything, second year i made university division. Try not to suck and have fun.
