Okay, here's the scenario then I'll ask the question:

We scrimmmaged a team tuesday that played one of our bigger rivals on monday. Lets make the tuesday team 'team a' and the monday team 'team b'. Well on monday, TeamA beat TeamB 18-3. We slightly expected it because TeamA was better but on Tuesday we beat TeamA 15-2.

Would you guys call this a victory for us and most likely later on that we will blow out TeamB...OR do you think they were tired from the previous day.

I don't expect any easy wins because it is common sense that any given day a team can slack or underestimate the team they are playing and lose but I was jus curious on your thoughts.

For further support. Last year, TeamA beat us 11-10 and we beat TeamB 9-8 after two overtimes.

I don't think they were tired from the previous day because I have no problem going a game a day.

I'd say that yes, it would make sense that you guys are better than "team B." But, you have to keep in mind, that they could've been testing players (it is only a scrimmage), and that what happens on gameday is most important. Just prepare for them with the same amount of respect and intensity that you would for any other team.

it can really depend on the team mentality on the field. if you guys play confident that your goin to win (without bein overconfident and slackin off) you should be able to hold your own. good luck

In theory you should destroy Team B, but it doesn't always work out that way. For some reason they might match up better against you then Team A, and they could give you a game. I know last year my team wasn't that great, but some of our best and closest games were against teams we had no business competing with, so anything can happen
