I just recently bought a CPX Ti and have been trying to get it to fit comfortably. I used to have one of the classic Cascade helmets that was a size M. I don't know how the padding on my new helmet will comform to my head. If i originally wore a size M helmet, should I use the black liner (thinnest padding), blue liner (less thin padding), red liner (thickest padding), or no liner at all? Regardless, the helmet still hurts the sides of my head right now when i put it on or take it off, padding or no padding. Which liner to use?

I also recently got a CPX and I have a big head so I use the black lining and that hurts my ears so I tried not wearing any pad but that was too loose. It is getting better tho, so if you just wear it around the house you should get used to it/it will conform to your head.

Is the mask sqeezing your head or the helmet itself while putting on and taking off the helmet? If it is the mask, I know a lot of guys who have that problem, and on a regular helmet, the mask will flex out to fit better. However with a Ti mask, you may have more of a problem.

the helmets break in as you wear them and shape to fit your head

Mine took a few hours of actual play, but now it fits better than my Cpro. It was tight for awhile, but it will come around. I wear mine as an XL.

so you think it will basically fit any head? cuz i tried one on today, and it felt like my head is too long, but not wide enough for no padding, but when i put padding in it so uncomfortably tight at my forehead...

or could you cut the paddings so that its like just holding on around the ears and nothing at the back of your head? :dummy:

All CPX's do that so you shouldn't worry too much as it will break in soon.
