Well the season is over half finished, what's everyones preliminary picks for the finals?

I'm going with a rematch of last year, Calgary vs. Buffalo, with Calgary winning again of course.

Edit:I can't type.

no way calgary will beat buffalo again, but i think arizona has a shot. i dont no if they will win it all because they are so young, but they good do well in the playoffs.

Out west, all three playoff bound teams are very close in the amounts of talent they bestow. Problem is, that they all show their expertise in different ways. Calgary would be the obvious pick, but Arizona could surprise everyone, and Colorado should never be counted out, despite the curse.

In the East, its no mystery now which three teams are going to the playoffs. Philadelphia is now completely out of the running, despite the fact that they're not mathematically out of the race. Buffalo is the best team in the East, but they're very vulnerable. Toronto could be a Tough team to beat. Rochester is going to lose John Grant Jr. for a period of undisclosed games, which could include the playoffs, for an indecency infraction in Philly, where he made a lude gesture to the crowd. That could criple the Rochester offense, and make them an early exit. But Rochester is a very durable team, and should find some way around this, but Jr's absence is going to be a major factor.

I'm going with Calgary over Buffalo as well. Its the obvious choice in this matter.

Buffalo's complete inability to get anything done after Campbell was put in was simply amazing!

Oh well, every team usually plays one dogfart of a game in a given season, I'm still picking Buffalo to win the East division.

ya, b-lo just played a tough game against minn. friday night and had to go out to play rochester on saturday. don't pat yourselves on the back too hard. I'm sure that played a factor in the k-hawks OT win.

All i know is Calgary has their spot in the playoffs clinched with 2 wins this weekend. They should just give them the championship right now.

I'm not so sure that Calgary will beat the East champ this year. Their current standing is just as much due to Colorado and San Jose drastically underachieving as it is to Calgary's play....they're feasting on the other teams in what's a bit of a cupcake division.

I'll give them credit, they are winning the games. Just saying I don't think it has been as tough for Calgary to win in the West as it was last season.

Colorado beats Buffalo. Come on its Gary's last season were taking it all this time. As long as the defense cuts ppl off and Baitly figures out that Langtry gives them the energy they need they'll take it all. Wow...what a surprise thats what happened last night when we blew san jose out.
