hockey and lax

can you use lax equipment in hockey ? gloves, shoulder, arm, rib pads? not stick and shoes obvioslly. i wanna get into hockey ( just started lax, never played hockey )

If you're talking about ice hockey:

You'll need real hockey gloves for the wrist, palm and thumb protection.

You'll want harder elbow pads, because you end up down on the ice a lot more than you do while playing lacrosse.

You don't need rib pads, your hockey pants come up high and protect the same stuff that rib pads do.

You will also need shin guards
