CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - No. 19 North Carolina got a five-goal, one-assist performance by Jed Prossner and an 11-save effort by Paul Spellman to defeat No. 10 Cornell Wednesday night 9-5 at Fetzer Field. The victory gave UNC head coach John Haus his 100th collegiate coaching victory in his 11th season as a head coach and during the night Prossner both scored his 100th career goal while also moving into fifth place all-time in career goal scoring at North Carolina.

Finally Carolina is coming together.. Hopefully they can pull of another upset against Maryland this weekend.. but that will be tough because I am sure Maryland will be playing hard after a loss to Dartmouth this week.. Both teams have tough games coming up.. After Carolina, Maryland plays UVA, Navy, and Hopkins.. wow, thats tough.. So they probably feel that they have to beat Carolina.. and after Maryland, Carolina plays Hopkins and Virginia.. so they probably feel the same way.. Gonna' be a good game I think.. or I hope.. not sure which.. but I know I hope Carolina pulls it out.. hbm :agree:

Finally! What is UNC now, 2-3 or 2-4? Good to see them get win, because it sure has been a while... An upset at Maryland would be nice because UofM is ACC, but I would much rather see a win over Hopkins. Unfortunately, I can't go to that game, which is really pissing me off...

I hope they pull off an upset of MD. Why? because I love this parity in lacrosse.
