Buffalo ripped them off, if u know anything about the players involved in this deal u would agree with me. ON top of that they got 2 first round picks from Anaheim. That = AJ Shannon and and possibly next years first overall pick. But it is not too bad of a trade for Anaheim either since it gives them a "name" player to promote who lives right in their backyard. But in terms of on the floor talent, its lopsided in Buffalos favour..

Trading Powell was the smartest thing the Bandits did in recent history. Not only was he a holdout, but Casey is about as useful in boxla as Mark Millon was. His game is excellent for field, but its just not practical for box. In return, the Bandits didn't get any marquee talent back, but it gets rid of a huge problem off their roster.
In return, this puts Casey closer to his California home, and puts a guy in LA, that the fans can truely appreciate. With the NLL gettin on TV this season, Casey should attract some attention. Hopefully he's trained for the season, and doesn't pull out again. He has to realize that getting hit is just part of the game.
AJ Shannon should be impressive, but won't cause anyone to break a neck to watch him. I think he'll have a quietly solid rookie year, and may give the Bandits that boost of stability they need.

he's a pretty good goalie!
as for c.powell in box, he sux!!!! it was all about grant jr in chester.... tavares is the shyzza in buffalo, and in anaheim, he won't do much, he's afraid of the cross checks, you can tell by watching him play, guys like bergey and finneran are the best cross over players as they have guts, powell's a sissy in box lax!!!
I predict anaheim does well, and powell is useless!!!!
Powell is still a good player indoors, just isnt the star indoors that he is outdoors. He still would be an asset to pretty much any team he's on. That being said I think Anaheim will probably finish last this year. And that fact makes this trade so lopsided. If they do finish last then they Buffalo could have the 1st overall pick next year since that was one of the things they got from the Storm in this deal.
PS...1st overall depending on expansion of course

yeah, against the rock, he never left the top left shooter positiion to cut or nothing....
he really was afraid to get cross checked....
hell even reagan wasn't afriad, and he's smaller than powell....

uh yea ryan wasnt traded... he wants to be the assisstant coach for the syracuse orangemen!! he wanted to do it. The coaches thought it was bad on his part.. but he was never traded....
