I play for a small highschool team with no real stick docotor
since i am only goin to be a junior i will be witht he team for a while and i wanted to learn how to string up sticks. Does anyone know anytips for getting me started and what i can do to practice. I have strung upmy old head before and it works pretty well for my first time, but i didn't use interlocking sidewalls and have problems doing the top. I really just want some beginner tips to help get me started. Thanks for the advice.

hey some simple advice i could give is stick with mesh until u get comfortalbe with it also visit e-lacrosse.com then check out the stick tech there... they have great topics to help stringers of all skill levels... also i say stick to hard mesh i find it easier to string and better overall to soft mesh

i agree. . dont move on until you have mastered the mesh. then you can move on to harder string jobs.

also look at other sticks and just mimic the way they have theirs tied up.

i personally think the lax.com stringing tutorial is really good. i used it the first couple of times i strung mesh and it really helped. if you want to use it just go to lax.com and at the search archives type in Mesh Stringing Tutorial. the pictures on it really help.
