Wow nailed it right on the head ....best rivalry Garden City vs. Manhasset ( classic battle too the finish ) but Chaminade Vs. St. Anthony's most heated rivalry, I've seen all three levels of the rivalry ( freshman, JV , and Varsity ) the last 2 years and those kids hit each other to knock one anothers head off or to put the other guy out for good it's like watching a football game. Usually low scoring defensive or goalie battle. Thee reason for the Hatred from what i understand is all the kids from nassau county on LI go to Chami and all the suffoulk county kids go to St. Anthony's. ( NASSAU COUNTY AND SUFFOULK COUNTY DONT MIX WELL ) Chaminade is more a team of speed and finesse and St. Anthony's is a team of talent and finesse as well but they are definately a group of hit you and the mouth type players who will do anything just to scrap a GB . It's fun to watch these to rivals clash and fight till the end. chami usually wins the reg. season series on the varsity level but St. Anthony's wins the Catholic Championship

This being Wednesday, it's lacrosse day in the Washington Post. I can't find the graphic online, but the dead tree edition has the top ten DC area boys' and girls' HS teams ranked. Possibly for the first time ever, GP is ranked #1, and Landon is ranked #2. This is about as expected a thing to read in the paper as "Lee Defeats Grant; Lincoln Surrenders." Centennial, after losing in overtime to Broadneck in its opener, won 17 straight to capture its second consecutive Maryland 3A/2A championship. DeMatha won 14 of its last 15 and captured its seventh consecutive Washington Catholic Athletic Conference title. Landon won the regular season Interstate Athletic Conference crown, beat DeMatha, split with Georgetown Prep and went 20-2 against its most difficult schedule ever, including 3-1 against teams from the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association.

But after dealing with a slew of injuries, Georgetown Prep has ascended to the top spot by finishing as the area's hottest team, winning seven straight and capturing the IAC tournament title with an overtime victory over Landon.

Agreeing with Orange, it has to be Delbarton-Lakes in NJ. These teams are always the best private (Delbarton) and the best public (Lakes) in the state. They are nearly guarenteed to play each other atleast three times in the year, regular season, Morris County Tourny, and the Tourny of Champions. At the MCT's alone, every school from Morris county is there. I personal route toward Mt. Lakes, gotta go public over private.

Oh yeah, Lakes in the past couple years is (not real but close to it) 72-5 all losses vs delbarton and delbarton is 8something and 4, those 4 vs lakes

Yeah, mostly just Mountain Lakes-Delbarton. Honestly, I've never heard of Westfield, or Madison boro, unless that is the same as madison. Anyway, those games are not worth watching compared to ML-Delb.

yea madison is juts madison boro but ive never heard of a rivalry with them and delbarton. they werent even on delbartons regular season schedule. delby summit has gotten pretty big but delby lakes is the best by far
