Haven't Shown they deserve it? Are you kidding me? They are something like 11-1, and the 1 is b/c they lost 9-8 double OT to St. Pauls on a fluke call. Oh, and what about those D1 recruits? D1 schools don't scout bad players. Yeah, they don't deserve it.

Some of u guys are crazy to even say that some of these teams are powerhouses
THE only good teams are in the miaa and landon
some of these other wcac, iac, and public school teams are horrible
severn beat dematha and gonzaga
stmarys beat gprep
stpauls beat landon
bl beat landon
mcdonogh demolished severna park and severn wouldve 2 if they didnt put their bench in the whole 2nd half

Prep Tops No. 1 Landon in OT
Brancaccio's Goal Gives Little Hoyas a Share of League Title: Georgetown Prep 8, Landon 7
By Jake Schaller
Special to The Washington Post
Wednesday, May 18, 2005; Page D09
After an uninspired loss in late March -- his team's second in a row and third in six games -- Georgetown Prep boys' lacrosse coach Kevin Giblin was dejected, but still able to find a bright side for his young and injury-riddled team.
"I wouldn't want to play us at the end of the season," he said.
Yesterday evening in the Interstate Athletic Conference tournament final at arch rival Landon, Georgetown Prep showed why. Much healthier and clearly more mature than in the beginning of the season, the sixth-ranked Little Hoyas stunned the top-ranked Bears, 8-7, in overtime before a crowd of approximately 2,200 in Bethesda. With the victory, Prep (17-5) claimed a share of the IAC title with the regular season champion Bears (20-2).
....
Ryan Shuler, right, and the sixth-ranked Little Hoyas (17-5) let loose after winning at Landon (20-2) to compete a dramatic turnaround this season. (http://media.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/photo/2005/05/18/PH2005051800079.jpg)

I am the goalie for Damascus, and i think we are a powerhouse in MoCo, but yea against others were not..It may be different if we had a JV team like Westminster and the others. All of the freshman and sophomores barely get playing time and we have a new head coach who honestly doesnt know anything..I think we could have went somewhere if we had all the opportunities that the teams like Landon and GP have such as coaches and jv teams...just my 2cents

Im a middie for urbana, we just lost to towson in the playoffs, we are regional champs, again.... i think urbana has a great team. We had 6 freshman on varsity.... one was our second leading scorer and is a prodigy. Our freshman are amazing. Im one of them, although they are stuck up and ****holes, they can play. watchout for urbana in the years to come, next year, we are losing 3 people, and our team is going to be mostly seniors. WATCH OUT MD

damascus is so sad at lacrosse. when i was a freshman, the scrubs from landons JV team joined advantage lacrosse league...like landons 2nd and 3rd stringers on JV...and we whooped up on damascus starters on varsity, like 15-6 or something.
and whats funny was before the game, one of their sad tools was like "wheres lamade? i wanna go one on one with lamade.."

Yea he is i mean we have a pretty good team talking into consideration that the program started like 5 years ago we have alot of dedicated players incuding myself
way better than wheaton most of the games we lost were by 1 goal like poolsville 7-6 last year, i am pretty sure we will have our best season yet this year
roycegracie47
10-07-2006, 02:18 PM
Ok. I played HS ball with is brother AJ. That means the Kennedy program has grown. Back in 2000, you had a little over just enough guys to field a team.

yea sad, AJ was that the Rockville defender? he graduated last year the only reason they beat us was because of him
roycegracie47

AJ would have graduated around '04. He played goalie (backup) and started on attack. He was a great player at both positions and a good guy.

Gprep is one of the best teams in the country. Any public school would get lose. Gprep is just at a different level. Its like putting the best college football team against the worst NFL team. The NFL team would win, simply because its a higher level of play.

yeh...g prep is a different level but not all private schools are at a higher level...Most MIAA except...friends, episcopal, or even bullis last year. Prep and other private schools has an advantage over public schools like they start games earlier, practice earlier, most are one year older, and they recruit
