i know the guys already have their version of this, but i was wondering what all the girls thought... Please post your favorite pump-up songs, and weird (or just unique) rituals that you or someone on your team does, and any superstitions you guys have. thanx
One thing i like to do before each game is put on eye-black in upside down triangles, even when it isn't sunny. then i get my left ankle taped, half as an actual pre-caution, and half as a superstition (i won my first game with my left ankle taped).
My favorite songs to listen to before games are:

Eye of the Tiger - Survivor
Also, after each winning game i paint a little red lion paw on my helmet (im a goalie)... weird, i know, but i have to do it ;)

Tight. This is the cheer for my team before every game. No one on my team really knows how we adopted this cheer, since we're a club team, so we're not affiliated with a school or anything.
A yell, a yell

I was a goalie last season for my team too! I just tie green (team color) rafia onto the back of my helment. It was cool, espeically when I ran.

I played at a different school last year. I personally did not have any superstitious things but as a team we always drove to away games together. The upperclassmen did not want to use buses so we always drove to the games. Talking, listening to music, eating, whatever. Good times. I like listening to music before a game as well. It calms me down and I focus better.

I light up a joint and drag race before a game, get's me pumped adn keeps me focused
way to rip-off of my avatar (kidding)...different.. its straight though, do you surf...?
...and kamikazi's wore helmets so they could communicate w/ their bases/ other planes.... i would believe

yea, actually i do surf (mostly in socal during the summer though, occasionally in santa cruz)... and i didn't steal your avatar! i've had it since i started at lax forums :) ... and dave edison said that thing about kamikaze pilots and their helmets... i just like the quote! ;)

cool, yea i just thought it was cool some one else had a surfing thing...laxchc11, surfing and lax are not comprable they are totally different in my opinion...both great in their own right..
