OK I'm just starting to work out. It's pretty minor since I'm still growing and don't wanna mess myself up. I'll be doing small stuff like push-ups, chin-ups, dips, ect. The only weights I'll be using are small 10 lb hand weights for stuff like curls, hammer curls, and stuff for my triceps. Anyways my main question is- is it alright to workout monday, wednesday, and friday but have lacrosse practice tuesday and thursday? Is this to much or is it good? I didn't plan it like this. I was looking up some good plans and figured those days would be a good start, then remebered I had prac. between them. Is this bad?

that should be fine - - I'm in the gym 3 times a week and lax practice 6 days a week and usually hit the wall and goal on sunday for about 3 hours

I basically do the same stuff Jman is doing...Is it bad to work out everyday, or on consecutive days? If it is, then why?

Depends on what kind of workouts you're doing. If you do a hardcore upper body workout one day, make sure to do lower body the next day. Don't just focus on one section.

It can be bad if you are young, too much stress on the body.
While you're young, don't push it too much. At lacrosse feel free to give it your all, i encourage it, but when you are weightlifting, don't bite off more than you can chew.
