Hey does anyone have pictures of the figure 8 tape design on mikey's stick or their own because i hear people talking about it but i dont know what it is! Thank you!

ive got it for you man take some athletic tape and rip off about like 2 to 1 1/2 feet of it cut it in half and tape around the bottom of your shafts put a quarter there too and tape around it. then do the same and lace one side around the shaft then down another the opposite way and youll have the figure 8 tape job with the taped butt.

i use that taping on my stick, it works really nice if u have a warrior kryptpro or c405

i use a style of taping like that on my stick too, idk if it's the same, but on the bottom i've got the diamons closer than mikey's and then on the top, i've got really small diamonds so it's just a perfect amount of grip (500th post!)

i make it so there like a a x on one side of sfat and the it ends and then a little firther down theres another x

i jsut have tape where i throw and shoot..i think it works nicely, i dont need all that extra crap on there. I also have tape around the bottom part of my head so that refs cant see when i cheat on face offs

what does he do with the finalizer with the tape on it? it's kinda like his new head right?

I had a figured 8 style on my stick before. I didnt like it cause i kept rubbing the tape and it would start to roll itself up. So i now just have cap, head, and where i put my hand for shooting

yea i got the same figure 8 thing and i notised the it is rolling off but i but some of my sisters clear nail polish on it and i sorta works but not to goot 4 grip

just put some hot wax on it and itl stay down or just hot glue it down, that's what i do, works like a charm

Does that type of taping have any affect on cradling or if you spin your stick?

That's the "imfamous" inspiration for the swerve. If you read the brine ad (or search the forums) you'll read he used to tape his sidewall to hid e the ball when he went one-handed.

yes in dose if you have just solid tape you gave a lot of grip and i find it is harder to cardel with espicaly when it is brand new

i like the figurate pattern because it has grip and is still easy to cradle with
