face off

when i face off, the ref will not let me face off left handed. i still win all my face offs infact i only lost one this year so far. but y cant i go lefty? also ive ben working on my f/o righty and i cant get it any faster.(i searched). any tips?

Sticks can't be facing in the same direction,ie head to head pole to pole. they must be head to head poles away from each other.

Lax Turtle is right, as for tips do a search, there used to be a whole sperate face off forum so if you search you'll find some good stuff there.

That is true but not teh whole truth. Even if both players wanted to face off left handed it could not be allowed. The players body must be to the left of the head. That is what the rules say. Search through some of the other threads and you will find a more detailed response with rule cite.
