E3 empty

ok,
I recently took off my E3's 4 shooting strings because the ball was hitting against the lip when I thew. My problem is I odnt know how to string the shooting strings in a way so the ball has a quick accurate release and doesnt hit the lip. I cant get pictures sorry.

what kind of mesh was on the E3? i think you just need a tight nylon going across the top of the mesh
