I have an old rotor that has been pinched one too many times. It is VERY flimsy and bendy. I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to stiffen a head. thanx

Welcome to the Lacrosse Forums
Unfortunally, unless some new advance in stick technology has come along that i don't know about it's not possible to stiffen a head. If there was a way, i have several heads i'd like to stiffen.

i have head of and seen pros stick there heads in a bucket of ice water while on the sidelines during a game to stiffin them up a bit. the only problem with this is it doesnt last long, also it make it easier for the head to shatter. othere than that i havent heard of anything else.

Thats usually just for face offs... I don't know that normal players do it, but hey its a possible idea. Theres no way to make a heads stiffer that anyone has discovered and shared openly, if its just a rotor, your pretty much best off with using it till it breaks and upgrading it.

nothing you can do with flimsy head. I had a warrior savage (which is pretty flimsy) for about 6 months and it broke after a poke check. I bought a revo pro with is the ultimate in stiffness. get the revo pro if you like stiff heads with a nice pinch.

i've left heads under my deck or in the basement for months, and when i get them out they are rock hard. You should try it especially in the winter, when the weather is icy cold
