Hey guys, Im a college student on my way to becoming a PE teacher. For a class we have to go to a local grade school and teach a few lessons throughout the year. This week we have been assigned to teach lacrosse. Ive always played sports but have vert little knowledge in lacrosse. I can physically do the skills I am teaching, but lack the knowledge of what the proper technique is.

I was wondering if anyone would be able to post a few lines of proper technique for throwing, catching, shooting, and scooping. And if possible maybe a thing or two on cradling. I will be teaching 6th graders and figure I might as well teach them proper form rather then just winging it.

Or if someone knows of a website where I can view a free technique section that would be awesome as well. This is a last minute seeing as I teach 4/6.

Thanks
Mike

I can't think of any sites with instructional videos, but you might be able to learn some stuff from http://www.laxtips.com/.

On cradling tell them to think like there lifting free weights (curls) and rap up with your fingers and wrist and arms....hopefully this is some help...sorry :guns:

This site has some stuff worth teaching to beginners (http://uslaxcamps.com/page.cfm?PageRID=14), all you have to do is sift through the flashy stuff and there's some actual good stuff there for beginners. Good luck, hope this wasn't too late.
