Tell me what stich you believe to be the best Face-off stick for Box Lacrosse. And Why.

Is it the pinch or the stringing? (more or less shooters)?

Gait Wizzard is good. I see a lot of them in the NLL with traditional stringing.

Do you like stiff or flexy faceoff heads?

If you like them stiff, Mohawk Mission Extreme, pinched down to 4.5"

Flexy - I dunno, I don't buy flexy heads.

I have an answer and i was surprised at how flexible it is. If that's you're thing though, for a face off i'd rather have a stiff stick.

do not buy an stx heat if you are a face off man. i rarely lost face offs with my previous stick but i got a heat and havent won one yet.(it is good for shooting though)

When i had my STX liquid the only real good tihng about it was face offs but my deuce feels the same so go for a pinch at hte bottom

i usta use a pinched bionic it was killer for getting the ball out
now i use a pinched evo and it is sick in my last game i took like 22-23 face-offs and i only lost one
but its all to do with techneek if you have a stick pinched down to 4.5 ill still probly beat you

its all preference, one person may be good with an evo or another with a torque. its all preference. i use a debeer triton, which is warped to all hell with canadian mesh

The powerplay is good...because it's so pinched but they break easily

and the trick is

Stick your fingers under your opponent's head, catching the mesh, and pulling his head away.

its there, and if your to lazy to click that here:

Use the traditional against them:
You can use the diamonds of your opponent's traditional pocket against them. How? Those diamonds make easy finger holes for you right index and middle fingers. Many players will just wait for their opponents to clamp and let them do so onto their fingers! Then, simply hold on and lift your opponents stick by the pocket off the ball. Think it's a dirty move? You might be surprised how often it happens in big NCAA games, that's right, it even happens in national championships!
