Good day to one and all. My good friend, Hooligan, gave me a call last night, and had informed me in the interest that was being generated over the media work I've been doing over the last couple of months, and said it might be a good idea to stop by and share this with you guys here.

In a nutshell, I have to date close to 2 gig of film, from my 1974-1975 NLL archives, and MILL footage from 1989-1994 seasons, currently online. Some footage is highlight reels I threw together, but most are complete games from back in the day.

You can access the media by following this link:

http://www.streamload.com/nlllacrosse

My website covers the 1974-1975 National Lacrosse League seasons, is 50% complete, and is under reconstruction here in the office. You can access it by clicking here:

http://www.nlllacrosse.com

Just posted the 1995 matchup between the Philadelphia Wings and the Boston Blazers, and am currently working on the 1995 game between the New York Saints and the Wings as we speak. If you have dial-up, you might be their awhile waiting for the streams to start, due to the file size of some of these clips.

My objective is to archive as much footage I have available from 1987 to 1997, from the MILL. Most of the early 1970's footage is online right now, and all that I have to make available at this time.

Any questions, comments, or concerns, can be directed to me.

This is for the lacrosse fans world-wide, and is meant for your enjoyment. Hope you all get as much from it as I do.

OK Hooligan, you have your sticky!

Stream away and thanks in advance,

Dave Coleman

Dave:

If possible, I'd love to get my hands on some of the source video (are DVDs possible?)

If this is workable, please PM me with your e-mail address so we can negotiate a fair price for shipping, media, and your time and trouble.

I'm unworthy, really! Lucky I'm not a woman, you little bruiser. But, since we're being complimentary early in this, allow me to introduce y'all to my latest installment, which will be under the heading:

1989-MILL Goaliehits.

It's the last of my 1989 footage.

Saints/Wings from 1995 will be up in a few days.

Even though the 1994 championship is up, I broke the game down and am currently editing all 41 goals, and wrapping music around it. The Wings/Saints game from 1995 needs to be uploaded. Should have it up sometime later tonight.

I was attending a coaching clinic this evening and the organizer said he had a copy of the first professional box lacrosse game ever played. I would give my left nut to get that tape... well maybe I wouldnt give it... I'd show it, but no touching.

You can use a website crawler, i think it will work. Or use something like NetTransport and start new jobs with the links of the "Play Movie" button as the destination or whatever that field is called. That's how i got them.

So you guys know, the film wasn't meant for downloading, just streaming. That was a mistake on my part that I noticed after putting some newer stuff up. All anyone is getting is the streams. Those who were able to download the stuff, when it was available, congrats. Also know that if the material shows up on other websites, we'll be talking.

Yo 1/2,

By the time I'm done, I'll have from 1987 to 1997 archived and have more old 1975 NLL tape that I have to re-master. As of the moment, my work, seemingly is drawing interest from both current leagues, and if this grows into the monster I think it's going to become, it benefits one and all. Also understand, from start to finish to upload, for a complete game on my end, constitutes about 15 hours total per, so when you factor in, me being a single father raising two kids on my own, my job, etc., this puppy is time-consuming to a point, but, I finding ways on getting it done. I do apologize to all for not coming through this weekend, but as Hooligan can attest, we were both in a suite in Philly on Saturday, gettin some summer business taken care of.

Most of the 1970's footage I have online came from one general source, that being the 1975 NFL Films documentary on pro lacrosse, narrated by John Facenda. The first go through didn't have the soundtrack with it. Now it does, and is online for your viewing pleasure. This clip is about 25 minutes in length.

Wanted to have this up last night, as a compliment to the championship game, but the uploading took until after 2 in the morning. Nevertheless, the complete Arenavision coverage is uploaded to the site. What you will and won't see or hear in this footage:

1. No play-by-play announcing. You have audio, but it's the crowd and the PA announcer. Kinda makes you feel like you're at the game.

2. No scoring titles in the footage, so you have to follow along to keep up with the scoring. The PA announcer says the score after every goal.

3. You will notice commercial spots in this. These were on the jumbotron at the spectrum.

4. Arenavision is the in-house crew for the Wings and all other teams in Philly.

5. The game was split into three parts. Once you hit the brawl, you'll see it as it happens, then after the game is called in the 3rd, Arenavision was kind enough to re-show the brawl, from three other angles, so you'll get to see the brawl from four different angles altogether.

Enjoy,
Dave

Be patient. There's a major renovation going on over at NLLLacrosse. The footage you love and want to see...again....will be back, shortly.

How quickly depends on how things go...

Just keep an eye out!

Ok...Thx...Just to make sure you know...I wasn't trying to sound like I was impatient, I was just unaware of the renovations...

Thx for the update...

Can't wait for everything to be back up

Hey Chamoo,

Can't wait to get back to it. Know that what I did, was a 5 month experiment with this, and everyine who had a hand in it, legal and otherwise, were impressed with the numbers, that were a direct result of what I did. Alot of people were in the know, alot of people are involved, and once things are in place, this whole kit-and-kaboodle will be something to watch. I wish I could share everything with what's going on here, but I'm not at liberty to do so at the moment, but believe me, if things go the way everything has been shaping up, since I brought the servers down, you all will have pro lacrosse on your computers, 24x7x365, and 30 years of film to rack up.

Keep the faith and thanks to all for your continued support. Trust me that it's going to be worth the wait.

Boxlaxman, have patience with the site. If you wait until the end of the summer, you'll see some impressive things from Dave. But right now, the site is down.

Nothing like stumbling upon this before bedtime. I hope to answer all of your questions, without beating it to death. What Hooligan says has fact to it, since Hooligan and I are friends, and have been now for a few years. I took the old site down a couple of months back, due to the fact that I was, in many ways, done with promoting a sport and a league, that has always looked for new ideas to mimic (and I use that term loosely), or new ways to make a name for themselves. True, I'm not the first on the internet that has shown clips of Box lacrosse. You'll get no argument from me there. What I did was being first to show full length games, with permissions. The grand total of streams generated from the project totalled over 300,000, at a cost of over 10 grand. A business model was built, two variations of the model were sent, and from that, the league chose to do something else with it.

After numerous discussions with the hierarchy of the league, I'm about to send another proposal, that in certain terms, were guaranteed in so many words to me. I have three projects that may or may not come from this. If I can generate at least 50% of the corporate sponsorship, that I had lined up from last summer, were in like flinn. I can't give full disclosure on what has transpired since the project ended, but it disgusted me enough to walk away from a sport I have been playing for over 30 years, and covering here on the Net and in the local media for 12 years.

TerryHHH commented on why not do bit torrents and other stuff that other people are doing on other boards. That would be stealing my friend. What I did was by the book, and as you can see, all the money and hard work went down the drain, for the moment. If you take notice to the "bibleoflacrosse", you'll see, half-assed, MILL championship footage, and the 1974, game #6, championship footage. My friend Wamper has used me to get attention over the last couple of years, and this is proof of it. They waited until January to proceed with it, hunting me down to see what happened with my footage, which is fine. I'm not here to be a "film Nazi". I'll continue to do the right thing. What they didn't figure on was being branded, losing an ISP over it, and not getting the hits I produced from doing it, and from what I understand, LacrosseTV isn't the money maker they thought it was going to be either.

You won't be able to access the "streamload" footage, because it doesn't exist there anymore, sorry to say, and that was by my own doing, under ten agreement I had ongoing.

So, in closing, I should know something within two weeks time, and if all goes well, we will be in business, launching for the 2007 season, if not sooner. The old site is being re-vamped, because, as someone pointed out, it's not the old guys fault.

Keep the faith,
Dave

Dave,

In all honesty, I don't think I ever checked the downloads or any of the new stuff you had on there. What I miss is just the simple old stuff you had up there from the old days. I'd just love to see that old stuff back...
