Tips for faking

Does anybody have any tips on how to fake passes/shots? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I did a search for this and couldn't find anything, sorry if I missed something.

unless u are just amazing at fakes... u need a stick with good hold... u cant fake if u have no pocket...

i dont really kno how i can explain how to fake, or help... just practice until it looks smooth and u get it down

use ur head(on your body not your stick) and shoulders when ur in close because if ur going against a good goalie and extened ur arms/turn ur stick he will be able to react fast enough to get his hands set agian or hell just come out of the net and hit you if hes agresive

Basically the point is that you shoot immediately after you fake so if you use your head and shoulders like GI said, you'll be able to shoot faster than if you did anything with your stick.

put your body into it, it'll fake the othet team out more.

Use ur body like ppl have said. Dont do one of those crappy fakes where u stick your stick out, because any defenseman will just knock the ball loose. On most of your fakes, dont use your stick as much as you think u would. It should really all be in ur shoulders and head

watch the defender, wait for the perfect time.i cant explain to you the perfect time because it will be differant every time,
