Hey I'm a junior and its my schools first year with a lax program. Glad that WV is getting into this sport. Its really awesome and I'm glad I can finally play, unfortunately I only have the remainder of this season and next year, unless I get good enough to play on a low level college team? I dont know how feasable that is but I was wondering if you guys could give me some tips on getting better. Maybe just some drills to get my shooting and cradling and ground ball skills better. I think my weakest area at this moment is cradling, when I run down the field I just forget to do it. lol I'm willing to try anything to get better so I'd appreciate as much help as possible. Thanks. BTW I'm in Fairmont, WV. I play for Fairmont Senior, and we play all PA teams and well the other two teams in my State. So you PA guys, I might play you soon lol .

4 groundballs bounce it off the wall on to the ground and get it
just practice cradling when your just siting there watching tv and just go running with a stick

Make sure to practice with your weak arm equally, if not more then your strong arm.

Yeah I think thats what I pride myself in at the moment. I'm committed to getting better. We had a game friday, and then games monday and tues, and I was out both days this weekend at my field for 2 hours just shooting, and every shoot that I missed when I went to get it, I practice picking it up as a live ground ball, then ran back and cradled back. Hopefully the benefits will show here soon. We have had 3 games so far this season, and I have 2 goals and an assist. Not to bad I guess.

lots of stickwork-find a wall and practice with both hands. for craddling our coach has us stand up then get on our knees sit down lay down and get back up while craddling and it helps alot. (but thats girls) use both hands. also make sure to stay in shape--weights,running etc.
