Anyone here ever hear of the Quebec Junior Lacrosse League?? (Out of Quebec Canada). This year we are up to 7 teams.

No player, Ontario resident, and waaaaayyyy too old for Junior lacrosse.

So Quebec has 7 Junior "B" level teams now?

The instructor we had at a coaching clinic was from Sherbrooke, and the field coach for Bishop's. He gave a pretty good account of the LAX situation in Quebec. Sounds like participation and skill level
is rising rapidly. It's good to see.

think fast, I am a frenchie in Toronto, and have joked many times about going there for a summer for Sr.b, I have one year of jr's left and I just got the expected cut from jr.b...

So another season of intermediate is coming...

Any teams in the Hull/Gatineau region expected? Sr. teams soon? I'd play there for sure

Does Quebec even send a Senior B representative to the Presidents' Cup tourney?

If so, P_G_R, you have to get yourself into that league!

I don't think there is any in the region, and IIRC, the one person
I know who plays senior from here, plays on the the team from St.
Eustache

Just to let you know that from what I'm reading in the ILA forum (http://www.network54.com/Forum/238065), it's almost 90% sure that they will send out a club for the President's Cup.

This was a statement that Pierre Filion (Quebec Lacrosse Fed president) made in the forum:

"According to CLA rules Québec is entitled to send an all star team to the President's cup in Kitchener this coming august.
This is what Québec will do: it will send the best players from the QSLL. This will be Québec's contribution, this year, to the President's Cup. That competition will be a great tool to evaluate Québec's progress in the last four years (remember there was no lacrosse four years ago and now we have a six team senior league) and will be a good indication of the efforts required to improve our brand of lacrosse.
Let's all wait and see; in the meantime let's see how the QSLL has progressed."
