BC rich guitars

guys shall i buy BC rich metal master pack(with warlock) or shall i buy BC rich son of beast pack (with 10% reduced in size beast) .!!! are they comfortable playing while sitting because this is going to be my first elektrik .... doe a 3 way switch have a better adv over 5 way switch and is whammy pedal more useful ... and also which are the best pick ups .......

You've made up your mind on BC Rich? As a fellow metalhead axeman, I always preferred Charvel/Jackson.

If you're going with a Rich, I'd say buy the one that's most comfortable to play sitting. The Warlock isn't bad.

For a 3-pickup guitar, you need the 5-position switch (or better yet, individual switches for each pickup). For a two pickup guitar, the 3-pos switch covers every possibility.

Pickups? I don't know anything about Rich pickups....they're OK, I guess. If you're looking to buy better aftermarket ones, I was always partial to EMG active pickups. If you like it really heavy, look into Bill Lawrence....Dimebag Darrell from Pantera used these on Dean guitars.

First off, ALABASTERMASTER is just plain retarted, don't listen to him. He has no supporting info, so just don't listen to those kind of comments.

RockStar knows what he's talking about. Except BC Rich pickups. They are CRAP. Do yourself a favor and but aftermarket pickups. I personally suggest EMG 81/90's (Zakk Wylde), that is, if you are getting a 2-pickup guitar.

I, as a proud owner of a Warlock, must say it is very comfortable sitting down. You put the top "wing" on the top of your leg with the other one under it and play normally. Sehr bequem.

ive played guitar for a long time those guitars are crap, pickups suck in them, parts are cheap and sounds like sh*t, get a ESP or a jackson if you wanna look "metal" or whatever or just get a nice gibson or fender, that would be smarter

i have an NJ beast, and the pickups suck D*ck, and there is one one model, with one knob. DO NOT buy that. ever. The NJ Beast is a great bass, because I've got EMG hot pickups or whatever, and it shreds(but I can't :crying: )
