Prefernce in throat guard

i had to get a new throat guard today my old 1 did not fit my helmet. I got the cascade one looks pretty cool. But would that plastic break, has anyone ever had that happen to them. reply thx

yeah i have that one, hangs down from my helemt, perfectly fine. its never even cracked and ive been playing with it for about 2 years. plus, you're not gonna get a ton of shots up there. i def. recommend it :)

Yea, it won't break, trust me..I've been hammered there and its still in place...

i used to use the lexan cascade one, but i switched to the itech n-18 throat guard- looks good, and has way more protection than the cascade one.

Most goalies i've seen use the cascade lexan one. I recommend it because it hands from the bottom of your helmet. I've used the stryke one and it was horrible because it connects near your ear, and not only did it look like I had a giant black bib on, whenever I looked down for clamps and ground balls, it would come up and obscure my vision....go with cascade
