Is there any other good string mesh besides hard and soft. I have soft. Really wonderin if traditional is good or any on lacrosse.com are good for defense.

Don't get the kind of mesh with holes in it because that stuff just flat-out sucks.

Yeah i like my soft mesh. Its hard to throw with until you have gotten the hang of it but it is really EZ to catch with.

See: the MMGM. Some people go for hold, some go for release. I'm a huge fan of 10<> hard.

Thier isnt a pocket good for "defense" or "attack". Really, one pocket isnt going to be good for defense but bad for attack. Check out jimalax 5 D for a really deep pocket with amazing hold, and little to no whip if you string it right. (I have mine with a U-hockey lace and a nylon across the top)
