Pain in wrist

Last week when I was facing off I twisted my wrist and it made a weird sound but it didn't really hurt very bad. But now pretty much everytime I shoot or make a hard pass it hurts badly. Also I tried to do some pull ups this morning and it hurt like hell. What should I do?


I know like most threads on this subject this will end up with saying ooo you got that jerking it. But before someone brings that up can someone help me.

Its probably a tear of your TFCC (trans fiberous cartlidge complex, I think is the official term). Hurts like hell. I have a complete tear in my right wrist and a partial in my left. Depending on the severity, the pain will dissapate in several weeks with immobilization and some rehab. Surgery may be an option depending on the size of the tear. I've been ok for the most part..I'll tweak the right one about once a year and its basically useless due to pain for about a week or so. Now and then a particular face off or stick handling move will cause a sharp shooting kind of pain but its something I have learned to live with.

I don't think it is that I just looked at a picture of where that is on the arm and my pain is a little farther up my arm.

Can some more people help here because I have a game this weekend. I have been practicing but it hurts and I can't get off as hard of a shot.
