I like pretty much any type of hard rock. I have taks(Texas' standardized test) all this week and I need to have something to listen to.
Bands I like:
Rise Against
Three days grace
senses fail
breaking benjamin
And I need something I can get for free like off the bands website.
My recommendation: Go to forums.ipodlounge.com, and go to music, then recommendations. Then look around a lot.
Also, in most cases, bands won't have stuff to download off of their site. But ipodlounge.com also has a free music forum. You could also download concerts. But considering I REALLY don't like those bands, I can't really help out.
Yo this one band called Limewire has all these songs on their site for free. Its wierd though cause they only do covers. Somehow they managed to sound exactly like the orginal versions. With that music maybe jack johnson? I dont know, i just like him and those bounds sound emo-ish i guess?

Yeah I heard about them. But really, discussing illegal music on the forums is a no-no.

Go to the itunes music store and browse around the rock catergory. Sample songs from random bands, or get recommendations from like raine said, ipodlounge. Then make a list and head over to your local borders, fye, or wherever you buy your cd's (bestbuy) and listen to the whole cd.

I love those guys, and you can listen to a few of their songs right on the website.
If you're looking for some more chill music to take the test, then go with some guster.
