I string my own stick because I dont trust anyone else with doing it, and plus they dont know how i like it. Recently, i decided to get a new head. That is the first dilemma. Swerve, Evo Pro, or E3. Then i want a mesh that is softer then hard and dura mesh but harder then traditional soft mesh. Kind of like deBeers soft mesh kit. But i wanna order it from Jimalax bc i hear that there mesh is the best.

1)What head should i get bc i am an attack player?
2)What type of mesh?

Thanks

Justin

i think the evo pro is the best attack head but personally i like the swerve better

thats all whatever u prefer whichever head u get, some people prefer the evo pro over the e3. they have pretty much the same face. so only u can really choose the head u get

i was in the same spot as you a little while ago. im an attackmen and i have a freind with an evo pro and i didnt like it. you take a lot of hits in attack and the e3 has a completely open side wall, so it looks like it wouldnt take much. i ended up getting the swerve and im gonna string it up with micro mesh from jimalax. ive never bought from them but they sound pretty good, and ive heard that they have good stuff. acctually as an attackmen, i would recomend the blade, pinch it, put it on somthin light. its sick. and about the mesh, take 6 diamond or somthin like that, and let it sit for a little while in a bucket awater with hairspray in it. it softens it up and breaks it in nice. its softer than hard mesh, but harder than soft mesh.

I would put money on the swerve breaking before the E3. The E3 is a beast.
Anyways to answer your question, there really is no in-between for soft and hard mesh. Your best off taking a piece of hard mesh, stretching it like crazy and lathering it with conditioner in the shower. This will soften the pocket up. Make sure you beat it good too.

As to your head problem... I can't really help you, a lot of the kids on my team love the evo pro, no one really took to the swerve it seems, only one kid had it and he returned it, and the E3 is good, I just didn't like the pinch as a defenseman. This is only a local demographic but it might help some.

The E3 is friggin awesome. TAke 6D mesh and put it in fabric softener

Yeah I say evo pro for attack, but I use a profile which works well. And 6 diamond mesh is a good bet, best hold, or learn to string a crazy traditional in it.
