do you guys know if there are jobs that will hire a teenager like around the age of 13-14. the job doesn't have to relate to lacrosse or anything but if it was that'd be nice. thanks

most camps and after school programs have openings for young teens, though a lot are at the volunteer level (but it at least gets your school's community service requirement out of the way if you have one).

become a lifegaurd, it is too late now but at (it is in dunwoody, GA)Murphy Candler they hire anybody to be an umpire at little league baseball game, it is good easy money,,,,,,,,,, Or find a church with summer camps for little kids and work there..... like i am working at Dunwoody United Methedest(spellin?) Church's summer camp, i have been working there for 3 years and i am only 13...they usually start hireing people at 13 but my mom worked there when i was 10 and they keep asking me to come back(she does not work there any more but my mom was the boss of the person in charge now)

You can get jobs at those doggy day care thingys cleaning up dog crap and taking them for walks and stuff. My brother was 12 when he got that job last summer...

I agree mowing lawns is the best summer job there is. You can get some lawns around your house, so you don't have to have your parents drive you to work. You don't have a boss, no real hours so you can make time to chill with friends. You get to be outside while you work so its never boring, and there's no taxes so your paycheck doesn't get hacked up. Its seriously the best way to go.

haha, well you could do anything like babysitting and stuff like that. Lawn mowing will deffinently build muscle, but if you get a job on a farm, holy crap. Not only will you build some muscle, but you also learn a few life lessons. Oh, and then there is my favorite, you can ref! Especially around here in Rochester. You know there are tons of leagues for the 3-6 graders. In fact, I am probably going to be reffing a few games and such.

Some fast food places hire at 14...but I will never be caught dead working in a piece of **** like that.
I mow my own family's lawn too much to go mow other peoples lawns...but, this summer my dad and my grandpa are getting a big kettle corn machine/tent/trailer to go make and sell popcorn at like, festivals and such. It's a family business, so me and my older bro get mad cash from that piece for free.
I'm a lucky man. :guns:
Lacrosse is getting a lot bigger where I live, and we have like, six referees to ref all the lacrosse games at all levels all over the city...so, when I get a car, I'm gonna try and start reffing some youth games.

I remember when I tried the mowing the lawn bit when I was 15. I started w/ three "clients" including my dad and I got boxed out by three different landscapers who controlled my neighborhood. It was a long summer and I got fat only having the one lawn left to mow after everything.

I'm going to be working at the gas station my next door neighbor owns. So I guess my suggestion is find someone that owns a company/store so they can give you job.
