ok so fresh\soph teams dont get much respect but there are some serious f\s teams with some killer talent which only means that that schools varsity is gonna be loaded in a couple years
here are some but go ahead and list some good f\s teams and what state theyre in
georgetown prep (#2 in MD)
mt saint joe (#3 in MD)
loyola blakefield (#1 in MD)
Boys Latin (#4 in MD)

This might sound biased be from Montclair but I think that our Frosh has some serious talent. Our depth isnt great but our top players are sick. They arent the most consistent team but when there on theyre game, they are un beatable.

Even though it's a public school the freshman class of Longemadow High in Mass. is loaded. Those kids have all american awards and state championships in their near future.

my jv team is 5-0 and we have won every game by at least 15 goals....not bad for a new york team.. since we play all the good schools, we have some respect.
Bro i played a lot this summer with the frosh team at prep.... its not that great. I guess they really stepped it up because they were palying pretty bad this summer. I went to a camp with them and they played as a team in the tournament, lets jsut say it wasnt good. A bunch of a-holes too.

I'm a freshie. I 'm pretty sure I'm gonna be moved up to Varsity for the playoffs.

i played your team last year as a frosh and now im a 10th grader but i dont think we play you guys, but any way you had some good kids on your team last year

after this year i've pretty much decided that frosh/soph doesnt mean much. of course you can make a projection of what kind of varsity a team will have in a couple years, but theres so much that can change from freshman year to junior or senior year. what matters is if you have a talented group of kids willing to work hard...scores and records mean jack sh*t.

yeah i've been meaning to ask about that.....is the freshman class that good or do the sophs suck or are the sophs on varsity b/c the upperclassmen arent good? what is the deal?

First the varisty team lost 22 of 30 players last year. So the top 6 sophmores and almost all the juniors are at varisty. The rest of the sophmores are on the JV team 2 start and another 4 or 5 see playing time in close games. The freshman group is very good 8 of the 10 starters are fresh. No one player is the star (4 guys average about 2 points a game each and anyone of the four can takeover a game) but best depth coming into LHS in 3 or 4 years.

I start on the freshman team at my school which is LT and were undefeated and have just been playing really well our last game is against New Trier this week another undefeated team . I just can't wait to play them .

whose fault is that because your coach doesn't have the sense to bring up players to the varsity. Our starting freshman goalie is already dressing and getting some playing time at some of the varsity games

I am in the same feshman class and have played you guys in youth lacrosse. Your freshman class isn't that good. :bull:

preps freshmen team is probably one of the best in the nation. whoever saw the this team play last summer didnt know what they were seeing. they saw 4 or 5 of the freshmen with add-ons from other teams. also, the of the 3 freshmen who made varsity, two weren't present, and the other made varsity as a defenseman although playing midfield in the summer. these 3 kids never played for the freshmen team which beat and lost to loyola and landon once each time.

Actually there were about 10 of them, and nothing too special. The coaches would only play their kids and the better add ons. Im just saying how i saw them play, in between the bickering and fighting. One kid was in tears (I think his name was James Orr?) because of what the coach said to him.

oh sorry i kept meaning to say this. those were kids who were becoming freshmen. the league they were playing in was a varsity league of kids who were mostly juniors and seniors. the prep kids were playing up a division.

Ok, thats why I said theyve probably stepped it up. There was a different kid than the one that straight up left, named orr, that came pretty close to ballin when the coach said something to the effect of "do you want to end up like your brother, losing for us in the 4th quarter" etc etc. And that Orr (im not sure if it was tyler) was a pansy.
Edit - These werent rising freshmen. Which camp are you talking about?

Ok, if your talking about the Skidmore camp, how come they lost, badly. Even the freshmen from the best team in the nation should have been dominating.

nope not talking about the skidmore camp. i was talking about saratoga which is the only one the freshmen went to together

they could have done better, but under the circumstances of only having 6 of them there, and 3 having met each other before showing up and since they were playing in the varsity league, they did fine

3 very talented freshman teams i know about are chaminade,st anthonys from long island, and delbarton from new jersey. All 3 teams had sucessful seasons this year. Chaminade was very dominate beating St Anthonys 3 times. St Anthonys though was in all 3 games. St Anthonys only losses were to chaminade 3 times and delbarton in overtime a game they should have won. Delbarton was down the entire game and with 5 seconds left in the game tied it at 2 and sent the game to overtime. Watch out for these 3 teams the next couple of years they are good.

I'm a freshie in MI we dont have as good as lacrosse as other states but were pretty good i was our starting varsity goalie and was All confrence but my senior year weve got a really good team coming

Hey i play for West Genesee JV lax. Our team has been undefeated for the past 5 years and our varsity team has just one the NYS class A championship vs. Niskyuna 15-2. Prep doesnt matter, our team can take on any team in the nation competing at our level.
