Hey does anyone else watch the show "The Contender" on NBC? I just finished watching the double episode this week(April 24th) and boy am I glad that Alfonso won, I cant stand Ahmed. Post your thoughts, comments, and favorite fighters.

I watched that yesterday, too. I was pulling for Alfonso too.
Actually, that was the first time I've ever seen it, but it looks pretty phat. I'd watch it more, but I'm not too sure how often it comes on.

Its on every sunday at 8 o'clock on NBC.

I have caught a few episodes and found it interesting. The last fight I saw was the one with Baby Face vs. some dude. The boxing is really poor and dull if you ask me.

Stallone makes it worth watching though.

Boxing is a great sport(in the off season) I hope antheyn the father wins. But I can't stand ahmed.

Yeah I really feel bad for that guy, I wonder how much losing on the show contributed to his suicide?
