For as often as the administration has to defend The Bush Family's business relationships with the Saudi Royal Family, you would think he would know better than to give people this kind of ammo….

It could also be that saudis hold hands like that with other men all the time and Bush was just trying to accept their culture for a bit.

It would also inflate your oil prices by about $5 a gallon.

Bush: "Hey Abbadabba, how 'bout knocking the price of oil down a few nothces? Ol' thrillhouse is goin' racing here pretty soon, and this $5-plus per gallon of 112 octane is ridiculous."

Abbadabba: "George, it's me. Condoleeza. Shhh. Just keep walking, act like I said something funny. Think of a Larry The Cable Guy joke. Good, just like that. Now ... while we're distracting them, there's a fleet of drilling equipment headed for the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. So long, caribou ... hello, cheap crude! We'll be back down to 99 cents a gallon by Labor Day!"

well, I guess it's time someone pointed out that in parts of Africa and the Middle East it is not uncommon for two grown men to hold hands walking down the street. It's not looked upon as a thing to joke about like we're doing.

Jpettit25

CNN Headline News actually did a short snippet about this same topic today/yesterday. They showed video footage of the two leaders walking around holding hands, and played, "I want to hold your hand" by the Beatles.

No dem said it was a bad thing just a fact about what Bush (U know like NJ's ex-Gov). My view as a centrist is that Offness is a disease It's nopt something to be made fun of (like the GOP do) but something to call someone on. (i.e. the anti-a,,Off pres. IS off or acts like it)

I was initially pointing that out as a benefit for all just that aside from all of the jokes being made...and in doing so as a registered democrat that kind of shoots your statement down.

What? :WTF:

The thing is you have to be tolerant of other cultures. Sure, there are kinda funny jokes that can be made, but just saying he's gay, etc....that's a little mean spirited. If you're going to crack a joke, it should be funny. Not putting thought into it either shows simple mindedness or is just being mean spirited. How many of us would watch Conan if his s punch line to the Michael Jackson case was "He's a child molester" or for OJ "he's a murderer" etc.

Crap, we forgot to tell you about the award ceremony. It was held last week. Since you weren’t there, Enjoilax accepted the plaque in your place.

Maff pau, malai na nikalnus.
