Great job by all. Incredibly balanced attack, all but Sellers scored points. Very dangerous team in that they get better as the clock winds down - should be a great final. Dawson and Conn lead the offense but what can I say about Miron. He heard boos all year at home, some deserved, some not. But the man stepped up for playoffs and I for one applaud his effort. I thought he was the MVP of the game.
Bring it back from Toronto !!!

I agree, I watch that last two quarters and loved it. It was very close, very entertaining. Now that the Sting made it this far, I'd love to see them win it all.

Good luck in two weeks.
I'm a Toronto fan first and foremost, but Dawson, Codd, Miron and a few others are acquaintances, and I like them all too.
As for Miron, he didn't have an MVP game (~73% saves), but he had a great 3rd period, and came up huge on a few really good Roughneck chances in the second half.
He's certainly better than many from Az seem to think

I think they were a playoff team without Conn.
Conn made them into a championship contender...that guy's awesome, and only what, 22?
He can do it all - F/O's, scoring, set-ups....hell, he's even a good fighter!

no with the trades that made they would have slipped out of the playoffs I think, SELLER and CONN, did alot to improve a team that I think would have slipped out of the playoffs, if you take away all the goals that he scored and assists, most of those games would have been loses, so think about that rockstar

Yeah, but....
You can't really say that and be sure. Games are played on turf, not paper, and my gut feel was this team was playoff bound even before Derks, Conn and Seller showed up.
Also, you can't just take away Conn's goals from the team. There's only one ball on the floor and if Conn's not using it, Dawson, Bomberry, Madalena etc. would see it more and take care of part of the difference.
For an example - Take a look at Rochester goals this year vs. last year. Grant, the single best scoring machine in the league, makes surprisingly little difference....Grant adds 49 goals and 56 assists, but the team only ends up 20 goals higher than last year when he didn't play

well y gut feeling tells me that the STORM would have made it in, the sting would have lost all of there last games, and the STORM would have stepped it up and gotten into the playoffs, but they got Conn and he made the push for the playoffs...

Sting were a good team before Conn. They're a better team after Conn. They could be champions with him.
But beating Toronto is not ever as easy as it seems...despite how vulnerable they appear to be.
While Anaheim has made leaps and strides to get where they are now, they still have a few steps to take if they wish to make the playoffs. But...they're close! Stay tuned for next season, when they're in LA.
