Boiling

I've been playing lacrosse for sum time now but i have never been into modifing my heads. But i have this old head i dont really use and i feel like "experimenting" with it, so i have sum questions. What do i boil it in if i want to pinch it and when i do should i take the ball stop off?

you boil it in water..

In water, and take the ballstop off. If your going to pinch it afterwards then when you use the string or put the vice on it throw it in the freezer and then let it thaw for a couple hours after you take it out. If your dying it just throw the dye into the boiling water and stir.

I use a big pot my mom has that she uses for canning, its big enough for the entire head to sit underwater. You can also boil the water and pour it into a turkey pan and set the head in that.

Ive done both and they both work well. The turkey pan idea is nice if you are also dying so you dont mess up mom's pots ;-).

in a bucket or a pot but also nick make sure not to fill it too high or the water will over flow when you put da head in

Find an old set of pots that your mom will let u use cause she'll get really pissed if u just go ahead and dye a $80 pot. If your just pinching it it doesn't matter, nothing will happen to your newest set of pots.

you could also wrap a string around the head until it is pinched how u want it. then u hold it over a hot stove top burner for about 10-15 seconds. dont hold it to close or it will melt. after u heated it throw it into the freezer w/ the string on. leave it for about 10 min and ur head is pinched
