1)When you string traditional you are suppolsed to tape the leathers to the shaft right? Well if you do, do you put the leathers into the slits, on the bottom of the head, before or after you begin to pound your pocket?

2) When your stringing trad. and you have to run the nylon through the slit(that you made at the bottom of the leather)do you leave some slack on the nylon so the dimond dosent tighten up and create a bulge in the leather???

(I am asking question 2 because on my 1st trad. those 2 dimonds got all tight and created a bulge, ruining the pocket)

2. Well it seems like if a bulge is made, you should loosen up the string. Never cut+burn strings too much aka that you cant readjust at least a little bit

1. you should string the trad. pocket around the ball, then type and tape the leathers to the head at the bottom, and then break in the pocket.

for question 1 i meant while your stringing the pocket you tape the leathers to the shaft.http://www.texlax.com/html/warrior-thrusterpocket.pdf (like what he did here)
(when your done stringing it and the pockets compleatly flat) do you put the leathers through the holes at the throat of the head before or after you begin to make a pocket????

Personally I put them through the holes beforehand, and then tie off and tape to shaft. Just taping to shaft will cause leathers to slip when you pound the pocket, just make sure you have enough slack for the leathers when you put them through the holes before you pound the pocket.
