What sucks is, both the owners and players need the NLL, if they want to play lacrosse. If they don't want to play lacrosse anymore, then the players have nothing to lose. But as I've talked with them, the players want to play.

So, my question is why is this taking so damn long?????

i just dont see why everything focuses on money nowadays. true the other pro sports make more money, but they are established sports, lacrosse is still in its infancy compared to them, and they need to give it time to grow. personally, i see it as a great privilege to play pro lacrosse, and if they cant decide, then they can contact me, because id gladly play for the pay they get now, and probably even less money since i enjoy playing right now and i get nothing for it, but i dont enjoy it any less. and i know i am not the only one...
the world today is just to focused on the dollar and needs to take a step back and realize there are more important things than money.

It's NOT a privilege to have to pay travel costs out of your pocket, to have to find another job around this job, and THEN to get stiffed on the little money you were owed in the first place.

Yes, it is a privilege. once again, people are focusing on the monetary aspect of life, and not on the great opportunity it is to even being able to play at a level like that, and to at least to have it as at least one "job," if thats what you want to refer to it as. i personally look on it as a sport, and while it is a job, i think of it more as a great opportunity to play, not to mention that many of the lacrosse player's second jobs also revolved around lacrosse, think million, gait, powell, etc. i was just making the point that many of the people in this world take for granted the things they love, the players included. now-a-days its always about the money, but like i said earlier, i would love to be able to claim playing as a pro as at least one of my jobs

Yeah but when your an adult and out of college there are more important things than playing lax, and if what you do (and do it well, mind you) happens to be lax, you want to be paid for your performance, and they put on a damn good one.

Oh, and 3200$ is (POO) money, if you'll excuse the language, lol. 3200$ for a season that could injure you and might keep you from applying yourself to your real job? =/ And what boss lets your off for a lax season? What do you take off all the time, get fired? They DESERVE more pay. Alot more. =/

i realize they deserve more pay, i never argued against that, and your right, there are more important things than lax. i would love to see them be paid more money, they truly are the best of our sport and they deserved to be paid rightfully for it. what they make isnt enough by far, all i was trying to point out is that it is still a great joy to be able to do what they do and get paid for it, in any amount

Before possability of a strike...the NLL was flying high and poised to kick it up...
Now this could derail the whole league so now i think they are in a bad spot...
