well your wrong about LA getting a team, its about 80 percent right now the STORM will be in PORTLAND next year. I hate that since I work with the TEAM, not the ARROWHEAD POND, the pond really messed up they are goin to lose a good team next year, but the POND, does want another team if the STORM leave...
-i know the title is a little harsh, but I know it will get more people to read this thread, I'm just doing it to get people to read...lol
-Also I hope it is LA too, since I dont want the STORM to leave the area!! I hope I have to eat my works...

Of all I've heard (its all preliminary right now) the Storm will be in LA. There is interest in Portland for next season, but they could either be an expansion or the Ravens defunct franchise with a new owner.
You may be right NLLStorm. Lets wait until about June, when the NLL actually sits down and looks seriously at this stuff. :-)

I hope the STORM are going to be in LA or ANAHEIM next season, thats my team...but from what I know(more then alot of pple) its looking pretty grim...they wouldnt fit in LA, at the Staples Center they would be 5th or 6th team to play there, and owuld have to play on like thrusday nights just to get all the other teams in...PORTLAND, i will hate you forever if you get the STORM...Grrr

I have heard from one of the Anaheim players that they are moving to Portland for sure. Thats just what I have heard. And I think it's true.

I spoke to an insider who wishes to remain nameless, and there is good news for some, and horrible news to others. The title to this thread holds A LOT of clout.
Portland = yes
LA / Anaheim = not in 2006.
Basically, the Storm are moving a second time, and rumor has it that it is indeed western Oregon that will be the destination of their relocation.

And Oslax, be patient. This one could take a while.
Well most folks were half right. Portland got a team but not the Storm. I do believe that the Storm will likely be moving but as to where who knows.

Surprisingly...Portland is completely brand new (this is what I've heard), and Anaheim is not going to be in Anaheim next year. Possibly I should have stuck with what I heard first, and believed it. That (for those who weren't paying attention) would place the Storm in LA (works well for the new potential TV deal criteria), and a new team in Portland. Then we still have the two teams in New York and Hartford that are brand new. But we're still one short for an even team schedule.

dude the chick that bought the team in portland, actually is really cool, she spent 4-6 games with the storm last year, and now she has a team...i'm happy for her...no LA is not gettin the storm, it would never work
Anaheim moving to portland, hrm.

Heard that too ZST, but the NLL signed the papers for an expansion team, not a relocation.
From all I've heard, Anaheim is going to move, but where is yet to be determined.
