Great for the Oregon area, and what makes this even better, for now, is the fact that Portland is getting an expansion franchise, and Anaheim is staying put.

I honestly didn’t and still don’t know what to think, I’m really excited about a team in Portland but I wonder if there are enough people/fans to start and keep a team in Portland… anyway i'll be there and I hope this all works out for the best.

So what's the new name going to be? On their site http://www.nllportland.com you can put in a name to win season tickets.
I'm a Portland Timbers fan, and just so you guys know, the Timbers Army, supports all local sports, some even enjoy the jailblazers.
To get involved in a supporters group that could also support NLL in Portland, come visit us in 107 at the Timbers matches.
By the way, since I'm new to the NLL, what are the fans and owners usually like? Just a bunch of kids listening to jock rock, or some hardcore beer swillers chanting the whole time? Let us in, more Timbers fans will pop their heads in, so enquiring minds want to know.

Cool to see the Rose City get a new club. Lendog is right many of us Timbers fans are going to checkout the new team. Lot's of us in the off season go to hockey games. We would love to hook up with any NLL fans from the Portland area at a Timbers match and talk...well...drink, more like it. You can find us at the Bullpen Tavern before and after games and in Section 107 in PGE park.

Hey folks! :D What's happening? :) My first post here in these forums and I just wanted to say that it would be awesome when Portland gets their NLL team there!! :D I'm a huge fan of the Portland Winter Hawks WHL hockey franchise so it would be great when Portland will be on the North American lacrosse map.
But oh well....... anyway........... take care all and I'll see ya in the next forum topic. ;)

Oh I almost forgot...... sorry LOL. I just wanted to personally congratulate John Hopkins for defeating Duke on Sunday by the score of 9-8. It was a bit of an upset but Hopkins pulled it off. Is this their 1st title in like...... 18 years or something?? At least that's what I read in the paper. But..... anyway...... take care.

I watched the Lacrosse National Championships a couple of weeks ago on TV, and it struck me as an extremely boring sport to watch.
Those are all pretty boring. What about the Portland Meth Heads?
wow...what a *****

the NLL isn't anything like the NCAA lacrosse you saw. You will probably like boxla, the style of lax played in the National Lacrosse League.
