Good set up?

At my Highschool at the training camp they give you the ability to buy equpiment cheap heres the options:

Helmet - Laxworld Talon
Gloves - STX catalyst
Arm guards - STX EXO
Shoulder Pads - STX Fusion
Head - STX X2 hard mesh
Stick - STX AV8 ( I searched LAX world and could not find this, has anyone heard of it?)

Is this a good setup, has anyone used or is currently using sny of these...thanks a lot in advance.

the av8 is a head

av8 also mite be the complete stick AV8 plus al 6000 AV8 is a good beginner head

yeah the av8 is the head, also ive never heard of the talon helmet

The AV8 really resembles the Proton. If the Catalysts are the original ones, and not the Catalyst 2's I would get them, b/c those gloves are really nice, whereas the 2's are hideous. The X2 is a really good head, though I'm not a real fan, but it shouldn't be to expensive.
