For the past 3-4 years I have been using starter stx shoulder pads(tiny styrofoam), 20 brine rib pads, ok old mpg warrior arm pads, and a switchoff between catalysts and gladiators(catalysts had the best feel but i grew out of them)
I'm going into HS next year(going into 9th)...i want to get gladiator arm guards, defts, intrepid shoulder pads, and just stick with brine rib pads b.c they are ok and i dont really need new ones

What do you think of my equipment selection?
I am a crease/wing attack that usually gets hacked a lot

EDIT: o ya its my birthday this thursday so price isnt really an issue but dont go crazy

I second the Deft Glove/Glad Arm Guard Combo

I think you have a pretty good set-up, but you don't really need rib pads, they're just extra weight that you have to carry.

The Player's Club arm guards or elbow guards are GODLY! My friend has them, and they are unbelievably flexible. unbelievably expensive, too.

aikitim - ummm idk about the g-forces...maybe i might get them instead but the glads look pretty nice

kryptic - niceeeeeeee, what sp's (and) rib pads do u use? where did u get ur defts?

lymnlax - rib pads are a nessacity as i am an attackmen who gets hacked a lot plus my sp's are really small and styrofoam

farny - i might get PC but those things are more look at my pads not at my game...i can back it up with my game but i dont really like that flashy silver look

Yeah, I agree; they look faggoty, but they're really awesome. I mean, miles above my crappy Wariror elbow pads that everyone has.

Actually, you should get the whole G-Force deal: All G-Force equipment; that would be odd.

To be honest I think it would be kind of stupid to switch from Glads to Defts but hey, whatever. The Defts are great though. Arm pads... G-Forces are the best. No ifs ands or buts. No fancy shiny stuff, just hard plastic and shock absorbant liner. They are expensive so if you don't want to spend the money the Glads are almost as good. As for shoulder pads, don't buy the Intrepids, go for the Vent X's. I LOVE MINE. They own. Perfect for attack. Good Luck
