Agreed, he wasn't on the team because of academic ineligibility, and was even kicked out of the school, wasn't he?

yup.. i beleive that he is playing in junior college right now, but there was a link to an article on lax.com a while ago that said his goal was to return to navy...but there were also rumors that syracuse made him an offer.

Ian did not play lacrosse this spring from what I understand. He enrolled in a local community college and didn't take enough hours to be eligible or lose NCAA eligibility.

Its highly doubtful he'll ever get back into the academy, it seldom happens once you are dismissed like that. He's supposedly been spotted on the campus at SU on more than one occasion but also apparently was seen at LeMoyne. He'll probably resurface for fall ball somewhere...anyone's guess where though.

its really too bad to have so much talent, but just kinda screw up like he did...hes a lot of fun to watch too.

He also made a stop here at Herkimer, but decided to go home to Carthage, New York and go to JCC(Jefferson Community College). He said if he is not reinlisted, which he probably will be(his words) he would love to attend 'Cuse
