by fakes, do they mean you pretend to shoot, but dont? or do they basically mean dodges and switiching hands to throw off your defender, and stuff like that?

they mean a higher pocket has more whip, allowing you to through better fake shots.

by fakes they mean pass fakes and shot fakes not just shot fakes. you can do a shot fake just as easily with a stick that has a low pocket. but if u have a low pocket and u do a pass fake its harder.

faking a shot or pass is what they mean. Dodging is almost easier with a low pocket because it is easier to one hand cradle with a low pocket

faking a shot or pass because you can come around with the stick completely and have a normal follow through like you would when passing the ball, because the high pocket holds the ball so much more.

oh i see. i never fake, i only try dodges and hand-switches and "swim moves" on people. so i guess i want a low pocket then (I wanted it in the first place, but i didnt know what they meant by 'fakes')
