Mesh Strechting

I'm getting my jimalax catapultion in a lil' bit and this is the first mesh pocket i have strung. (ive strung some with leathers) I dont know jack about stretching mesh. I need advice, what is the best way to do it. Post your suggestions (sp?) here.

next time use the edit button on the bottom of your post...

right when i get it i just grab the ends and give it a few good pulls, then grab the side and do the same...roll it up and pull on the edges...that should stretch it out nice...if you ever need to use some nice hard mesh...

get it nice and wet then put some hair conditioner on it...rub it in for a few minutes stretch it out a bit then rinse it off...that should do ya good...

If your stretching your pocket once its strung i use shaving cream then ball and butterknife it after i rinse it...works great (especially on 6d which for me is really hard to break in)

just pull the mesh in all directions and use the conditioner thing i dont use the ball and knife trick tho after its strung up just go hit the wall for a few hours to break it in nicely and get the pocket form ooo and dont forget to pound the crap out of it

i found that to be really helpful and if u want an even better result soak the mesh in a bucket of warm water w/ some shampoo or conditioner

catapulation when you first get it is very hard...you are going to want to stretch it after it's wet and conditioned

i just strung catapultion in my evo. what i did was put it in steaming water, and planned to take it out in 15 mins to string it. this was last night. this morning i took it out of mysink and rolled it uo then stretched it out like i was wringing it out if ya know wat i mean. then i put my sink with steaming water and stretched the mesh while running it under the water then strung it! lol. alot but its so freaking soft.
