Double Sidewall

Im debating with myself wether i should put a double sidewall into my new mesh or not. I dont really know to much about it except that it makes your pocket deeper. Could someone give me some further info so i can make up my minde plz? :dummy:

I heard it does because it makes a bag. It would makes sense because the sidewall is hanging farther down...

Yea i think it does. If you go to the Monstrously massive guide to mesh and scroll down to section IV it shows a double sidewall.

but is it just like double threaded sidewall or threaded and then threaded over like two layers not overlapping but one below the other nvm ill just go llookk

I think that applies to goalie sticks, but im not 100% sure..its just that Ive never seen a double-sidewall regular mesh

it wont be illegal if you do it right, but i think bag pockets are horrible anyway. Too much whip for me.

Well, I just wanted to make a quick point..

The distance for a stick being illegal is the same distance is same for all sticks.
Let's say you have two sticks, one with double sidewall, one without. They both are the same depth.

The only difference between the two is one uses twice as much sidewall, and the other one's mesh is a bit more stretched out..

my X2 has a triple sidewall and the pocket is freakin deap. almost illegal. but the cool part is the pocket sways back and forth when cradle

I do it to all my heads and i find it extremely effective, but it works best with heads that have alot of holes for stringing, like the E3, which i find works very well.

double sidwalls allow you to place the pocket precisely where you want it. By doubling up in some areas and steachinf on other parts of the sidewall you can get a pocket right at the ball stop or 2 inces from the scoop. And if it is too deep, move the bottom string up a row of diamonds and tighten it.

i have double sidewalls on my stick and if you do it right it can be deep and legal...i have it on my hard mesh and it doesnt whip to bad...i recommend it
