Hey, I was wondering where I can buy longer cross laces, around 70 inches or so. I normally purchase my stuff from JimaLax, but the I can only buy 36" (which would be too short) or a Spool of 100 Yards (which would be too long, as I don't string that much). If possible, I would like to buy the leathers at the same place. Thanks.

I'm trying to string my first traditional pocket (hopefully a Pita Pocket). I'll do a search too, but if there are any useful tips you wouldn't mind putting down in this thread, I would really appreciate it.

On a side note so I don't start another thread, I've heard that crosslace is stronger than sidewall string. I was wondering if anyone had a deffinate answer to this.

Well sidewall string is actualy reinfoced crosslace used for sidewall string. I used crosslace in my finalizer instead of sidewall, and it suprisingly works fine. I say though just get the whole spool of sidewall, it will last you if you need more, and it can easily dish out 70" pieces.

Not to steer you away from jimalax or anything, they're the best for stringing, but bacharach lacrosse has pocket nylon (not sure if same thing) in 21' lengths for 5 bucks

i have used sidewall for crosslace, and it is not that different. I dont know if you can fing sidewall in 70 inches though...
