well ive had the x factor gel, and it didnt impress me that much...too much slipping, and the gel ag doesnt seem that much better. THe revs are pretty much the same as the MLL, right? If that's the case, get the less shiny ones. less shiny=less expensive

lol ok thanks, yeah the diff between MLL and Rev are that the MLL is shiny and the elbow is plastic.

YES, the one word sums it up. You're looking at somewhat pricey equipment. Check out the avalanches, they're on sale almost everywhere. THey are awesome, unmatched flexibility and awesome protection.

MPG 5.0 or the MLL 5.0
or the Stx Mercury -

Ah the STX Mercuries. Those are nice too. I tried the vent x's on, and I didnt like them as much. They have a strange fit to them, the pads protect more of your outer arm than your under arm (hard to explain, you'll have to see for yourself) They are protective, but Like i said in an earlier post, I just need ones that I can bend every which was like the av's, but w/e suits your needs. Good protection though. Ok flexibility.

yep i dont have anything bad to say about the revs. Just make em tight enough that they don't slip.

I have the vent x's, I love them, the only bad side, is when it's cold out, the wind gets in the little holes and your arm gets a little bit cold, but I got used to it. I like them.

hows the mobility on the vent x's
cause i see they protect enough but i am wondering about movement
also what can any one tell me about the supercrosses?
vent x's protection is great and so is mobility i have em and love em. the supercrosses are amazing, they are a little stiff once u get em but once they are broken in they are heavenly

MLL 5.0's are the best... Theres no substitution. They don't hinder any motion and they have amazing protection for how slim they are. Sorry guys, nothing beats them. If something was better, the MLL Guys would be complaining.

i play attack so i like my pad to cover my whole arm so i say go with the Warrior MLL AG 5.0
Brine Vent X - ive tried alot of different pads, and these offer amazing protection. i can run into 3 long poles and my arms wont get a bruise. even if you fold your off ball arm, extending the pads, they have another pad that protects your elbow underneath the visable coff-like pad.
slippage - they kind of slip alot. but ive never had a pair of arm pads that dont.
venting - the vents work good. if you take a running fall they might give you a little scratch, but not likley.
movement - they pretty much dont restrict movement. you have to cut out the strap in the middle because it pinches your arm if you fold your arms. and also, they do keep you from folding your arms all the way, but this doesnt make you play any worse, it just might be annoying for you.
