A while back, I posted that a coach had shown me a 6.5-inch long piece of steel that could be inserted into the head of the stick to see if it was legal for that measurement. Does anyone know where I can find one (or many) of these?
Tape measure is more versatile, lighter, and easy to carry. Why run around with a 6.5" piece of metal in your pocket?

I think ultimately it's more objective and accurate. Plus, I was thinking I'd keep it in my sock.

Could you cut one yourself somehow? I'm no ref, but for pinching purposes I cut down a ruler to exactly 6.5 inches and use that the same way, inserting it into the head.

I suggest cutting a peice of sheet metal or Alummium and taping up the sharp edges.

What's the difference? LaxRef's been running around with twelve inches tucked away in there! (At least that's what he claims)

I've heard the same thing. I think if we ever work together, his 12 inches and my 4 1/2" combined let us check the 16 1/2 inch GK crosse! :nut:
