you know that 2000 dollar Dell i got the same parts and made the comp my self for 750 with a cooler case

yea im rebuilding one too. with one pimp *** case. it sounds so hard to build your own comp, but its really not. just making sure parts are compatible and connectiing them.

my computer froze and only my mouse would move then after 2 mins or so, it was fine

Hmm...it probably has nothing to do with the site at all. Check how many programs your running at once. If you've got four AIM messages up, AIM itself, two IE browsers, Word, Kazaa, or whatever else you may be running: that may be your problem. Having too many apps up at once, no matter your processer (etc) can cause a comp to freeze or slow down.

I myself just got a new Dell Inspiron 5150...I'm loving it so far. Wish they had other colors even though this Titanium and Blue is nice...I love the iMac looks but hate their software...DOWN WITH MACS! I've been born and raised a PC gal. My school has 'em and they upgrade 'em every summer so they are really nice but I'm glad to be able to bring a PC up to help keep myself sane, lol.

Sully, what is a reliable parts company and where can you find empty cases? Its something to keep in mind. I'd like to know where I can build one myself thats just as good as a retail Dell laptop but cheaper.

I to will be building a new computer soon.

www.newegg.com has excellent prices. Laptops are MUCH harder to build, I personally would never bother building a latop.

Yeah, Id reccomend newegg too. Try bizrate.com or tigerdirect.com, but I have no idea on earth how to build a laptop.

u guys can build comps. wtf!!!!! i cant even fix my bike. well i lost that thing so i cant fix it now, but i couldnt before. i hav a different technique to fix my comp. control + alt + delete or unplugg the satanic device

hahah yea if control - alt - delete doesn't work, i just reach down and turn off the plug outletts for the computer.

i got a dell dimension 4550 it is the best computer ever! And no I've never had problems with this site

ive never used a dell, one of my friends had one and said his was crap and it got a virus before he was even connected to the internet
