one of the attackman on my team told me that d guys dont really need to wear cups then i said that sometimes d guys find them selves in front of shots then what happens. So i was wondering out of the three field positions would be most likely not to wear a cup id have to say the attack because they dont really play d accept for rides and they never find themselves in front of shot.

id agree attack is the most likly not to. But i would defanotly still wear one anyways.

same here for attack. but personally id wear one no matter what. a little discomfort is better than losing your twigs and berries. see nice and clean. i play D and always wear mine. i've been hit there a few times and am glad i had it on.

i agree but i have learned to try and block shots with my stick i learned that the hard way. but i still wear my cup no matter what

I think any position is crazy not to wear a cup. Some guy to is trying to poke check the crap out of you with 6 feet of titanium isn't always going to hit you were he's suppose to, and attackmen still sometimes screen the goal and what not. I'd wear a cup no matter what position I'd play.
Thats just me though.

I have played many times (mid.) without a cup and never got hit. Then when i started wearing one i got hit alot and it hurt my "stuff" so bad.

goalies are the only position that don't need a cup, any goalie who can't take the heat is a f00cking pu55y and needs to stop playing lacrosse

dude my friend got hit with a shot in the nads and he didnt get up for like 45 min. always wear a cup no matter what the position you play
