Do throws come of plastic less with whip?

my new stick doesn't have whip but is very tight up top. i am used to a loose stick with no whip. i am surprised on how the ball seems to come off the pocket, because i'm used to feeling it come of the plastic a bit.

point is, when u have whip or tight strings do u pass without it coming off
the top of the head?
sry if this is confusing, if i need to i'll verify

like i usually play with very little whip. therefore, the ball comes out of the pocket right at the top of the head.
my new stringing the ball is coming out lower, in part because i have more whip/tighter strings. i know a lot of high level players play with more whip than i do. i'm wondering that when ur throwing with a lotta whip or a deep pocket is the ball supposed to come off the pocket more than the top plastic?
i'm wondering because it feels so wierd for me to have the ball nto come out at the top and just wondering if that's normal

i kno exactly what your talking about. the ball comes out lower in the pocket so then it doesnt come off the plastic. just loosen up the strigns until you get it right.

As long as you can throw and catch comfortably then it doesn't matter what part of your pocket the ball releases off. If you can get it from point A to point B accuratley, then its fine. Its all preferance.

if the ball comes out high, there isnt whip, if you can feel a significant hook when the ball releases, there is whip. This isnt a problem with your head...its a problem with your shooting strings...

its all preference, but most ppl hav taught me to have theball come off the shooting strings, becus it tends to giv u mor accuracy

my mistake conrice i knwo it's not the head, i know it's the stringing cus i just re-did the strings and am now ahving that problem. i always had it come off the plastic cus i assumed taht's where it was supposaed to...like u know my logic was "v funnels to straight funnels to plastic. to me (and maybe just cus i'm used to it coming off plastic) it seems like if it came off shooters it would have less feel cus u don't know when it releases...anyways i'm ytrying to get it to wear it just rolls of hte plastic nicely, no lip but still coming off it.

nope, trust me, if it was more accurate and released better off the plastic, everyone would have their balls come off the plastic....you'll love the feel of shooters as opposed to the plastic....you'll throw much farther, and throw more effortlessly.

because if the ball is coming off the plastic, the plastic will act as a lip when you throw the ball....meaning, the ball will get caught on it, and not roll off like it should....thats if it is gettin caught on the plastic.... shooters make it much more accurate because the help to channel the pocket to channel the ball when throwing....they also can create less whip... trust me...do 3 shooters, top one very tight, second to top a lil bit more loose, and then the bottom the loosest... try throwin with it

ya i think i understand now i think my bigger problem is trying to get a pocket that will throw like i want it to. i am still defbating the plastic thing cus it seems soo confsuing to me idk why.
anyone know a good video to order or something like that to help me get my technique right?
